Overview

Shadow Wood Country Club is recruiting Seasonal Assistant Golf Professionals to support the club's service goals in the Outside Services Operation for the 2026-2027 season. The position start/end dates are flexible for this position, with start dates beginning in November-January and end dates April-May. This position will report to the Head Golf Professional, who reports to the Director of Golf.

The successful candidate will assist the Outside Services staff in the day-to-day execution of the Outside Services Operation. This includes interacting with Members & Guests before & after golf, managing Golf Bag Storage, Golf Cart Fleet upkeep, Bag Drop Operations, Practice Facility Operations, and more. A focus for this role is the visibility and interaction with Members and other Staff each day.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is working towards becoming a PGA member and is eager to learn/gain great experience at a high end, private country club in Southwest Florida.

Experience Required

◦PGA Member/PGA Associate preferred

◦Private club experience preferred

◦Outgoing personality type who seeks engagement with Members & Guests

◦Works well in with others in a fast-paced, busy environment

Essential Responsibilities

A few specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

◦Welcoming and interacting with Members & Guests before/after golf.

◦Maintaining a professional presentation in all areas of the Outside Services Operation.

◦Managing daily activity at Bag Drop, Cart Staging Areas, and Practice Facilities

◦Assist the Head Golf Professional, as needed.
