Overview

The Golf Operation Team at Worcester Country Club is essential to the success of our team and the first point of contact for arriving members and guests. Team Members should:

• Have immediate availability
• Golf knowledge or experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Key service areas of employment are Driving Range, Golf Cart Fleet, Bag Room, and other outside areas of the golf operation.
• Adhere to the Team Manual outlining the expectations of each service area. Follow daily opening and closing procedures.
• Have an outgoing and friendly personality, a proven team player who enjoys engaging with people.
• Demonstrate good work ethic day to day.
• Be able to work 20-40 hours a week, with a potential for weekends and holidays.
• Need to be comfortable with some shifts starting as early as 5-5:30am in peak summer.
• Be flexible in their work schedule and able to work through October.
• Have the ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
• Be comfortable with standing and working outside for long periods of time.
• A valid drivers license is required.

Golf Operations members will earn pooled tips on a daily basis. They will also be granted privileges to use the golf course and practice facility. Team members will also receive staff meals during their shift and will receive a holiday bonus.
