Overview

The Outside Services Attendant provides outstanding customer service to members and guests while supporting golf operations through bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining clean, organized outside service areas. The role ensures golf carts are staged, stored, clean, functional, and ready for use, while delivering golf-related services that create a seamless and enjoyable golfer experience.

Experience Required

• Preferred high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push, pull, twist, bend, and lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
• Adherence to attendance requirements and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
• Availability to work weekends and/or holidays as required.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support including cleaning clubs and delivering them to cars as needed.
• Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member and guest experience.
• Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track usage, clean and inspect carts for damage, and report issues to the Golf Shop.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, parking lot, and pro shop entrance.
• Set up and manage practice areas, ensuring they are stocked with equipment such as range balls and prepared for daily use.
• Collaborate with range attendants, marshals, starters, and other golf operations staff to ensure efficient service throughout the day.
• Complete daily assignments in designated areas and maintain work areas and Golf Shop organization and stock levels.
• Assist others as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management.
• Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and safety practices.
• Maintain professionalism, pursue personal and professional growth, and attend daily briefings.
