Overview

Part-time outside service role supporting golf operations and guest experience at Rock Manor Golf Club. The position focuses on assisting members and guests, maintaining golf operations areas, preparing carts, supporting practice facilities, and contributing to tournaments, outings, and food and beverage activities.

Experience Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months to one year of customer service experience or training
• Regular and reliable attendance

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests, including bag handling and club cleaning
• Maintain the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area in a neat and orderly fashion
• Maintain the cart storage and cart washdown areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
• Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards
• Educate players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play, and similar guidelines
• Assist players by changing golf spikes if needed
• Perform range maintenance, including stocking practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, and ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory throughout the day
• Direct the start of play when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs
• Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return
• Assist with food and beverage activities
• Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Perform other duties as required
