Overview

Outside Player Services attendant role at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort supporting golf operations and guest service in a fast-paced hospitality-focused environment.

Experience Required

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hears; occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly works in wet or humid conditions and frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards.
• Assist in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy and speed of play.
• Assist players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
• Perform range maintenance including setting practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory throughout the day.
• May direct start of play.
• Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
