Overview

The Golf Club at Lansdowne in Lansdowne, VA is seeking an Outside Operations Attendant. This role is suited for a driven individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property organization.

Experience Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months to a year of customer service experience or training.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Availability on weekdays, weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and holidays.
• Early spring and fall availability is a plus.
• Must have a driver's license.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to guests, including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Maintain the cart storage and cart wash down areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards.
• Assist in educating players regarding course policy, cart policy, and speed of play.
• Assist players by changing golf spikes if needed.
• Perform range maintenance, including stocking practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, and/or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory throughout the day.
• Direct the start of play when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
