OverviewSeasonal Outside Services Attendant
Employment Dates: August 1 - October 13, 2026
Nantucket Golf Club is seeking motivated, service-oriented professionals to join our Outside Operations team for the 2026 season.
Designed by Rees Jones and opened in 1998, Nantucket Golf Club was recognized by Golf Digest as "Best New Private Course in America" and has since been honored as one of the magazine's "Top 50 Golf Retreats." Operating from mid-May through mid-October, the Club hosts more than 11,000 annual rounds and generates over $1 million in golf shop sales, reflecting one of the premier private golf experiences in the country.
Located on Nantucket Island, the Club serves a distinguished membership and provides an exceptional environment for professional growth. The relationships developed and experiences gained during a season at Nantucket Golf Club are invaluable for those pursuing a career in the golf industry.
As a walking-only facility, caddies are required for all member and guest play. During peak season, the Club manages a caddie program of more than 70 active caddies each day, supported by a highly organized Outside Operations team.
This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering an exceptional golf experience while gaining hands-on exposure to all facets of a premier private club operation, including outside services, tournament administration, instruction, club fitting, merchandising, and member service.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver exceptional service to members and guests while maintaining a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Coordinate daily outside operations, including bag room, practice facilities, guest services, and golf cart staging.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all outside service areas and equipment.
- Oversee the care, storage, maintenance, and inventory of golf carts, rental clubs, practice balls, and outside operations equipment.
- Prepare and maintain practice facilities, golf course supplies, and on-course amenities.
- Clean and manage member and guest golf equipment, including storage, club repair, engraving, and rental club inventory.
- Assist with golf operations, including tournament administration, caddie operations, golf shop support, and merchandise promotion.
- Monitor member and guest needs, promptly address service issues, and communicate operational concerns to the professional staff.
- Support instructional programs, junior golf activities, and special events as assigned (PGA Registered Apprentices only).
- Adhere to all Club policies, safety standards, and operational procedures while performing additional duties as assigned by the Director of Outside Operations.
