Paradise Golf partners directly with golf clubs to deliver tailored marketing and promotional support to drive increased revenue, visibility and utilization at each facility.
Job Title: Manager of Golf Leagues & Tournaments Location: Tampa Bay, FL (Hybrid - on-site at partner courses and remote) Reports to: VP of Operations
Paradise Golf is seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Manager of Golf Leagues & Tournaments to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of competitive and recreational golf events across our partner courses. The ideal candidate will have strong operational skills, deep knowledge of golf event management, and advanced proficiency with Golf Genius, tee sheet management systems (e.g. Lightspeed), and other golf technology platforms. This role will blend hands-on event operations with technology-driven scheduling, communication, and scoring to deliver exceptional experiences for members and maximize course utilization.
Experience Required
- 3+ years of experience in golf event management, preferably with leagues and tournaments.
- Advanced proficiency with Golf Genius and tee sheet management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel between courses as required.
- Knowledge of golf rules, formats, and scoring.
- Comfortable using data analytics to improve event operations and participation.
Preferred:
- Experience in member-based golf organizations or multi-course networks.
- Background in leveraging technology to enhance player experiences.
Essential Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and manage golf leagues, tournaments, and special events from concept through completion. • Utilize Golf Genius to set up events, manage registrations, create pairings, and handle live scoring. • Work with course staff to manage tee sheets, coordinate start times, and optimize pace of play. • Oversee player communications, including event announcements, reminders, and post-event recaps. • Ensure accurate collection and reporting of fees, results, and event-related financials. • Train and assist staff or volunteers in using Golf Genius and related technology tools. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner courses, vendors, and sponsors. • Analyze participation data to improve event offerings and member engagement. • Troubleshoot technology or operational issues in real time during events.
