Riviera Country Club is seeking an energetic and passionate PGA Professional to join our exceptional team at one of South Florida's premier private clubs.
Located in the beautiful city of Miami, Florida, Riviera Country Club offers a first-class golf experience and a culture centered on exceptional member service, player development, and professional excellence.
The ideal candidate is a motivated PGA Professional with a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a passion for teaching and growing the game. This individual will play an integral role in delivering outstanding member experiences while contributing to all aspects of golf operations, including instruction, tournaments, merchandising, and daily golf shop operations.

Position Summary
The Junior Golf Leader is responsible for creating a positive, energetic, and safe environment for the Club's junior golfers. This individual will assist with junior clinics, camps, tournaments, and special events while serving as a positive role model for young members and their families. The Junior Golf Leader promotes the game of golf through instruction, encouragement, sportsmanship, and exceptional member service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead Professional for all junior golf clinics, camps, and instructional programs.
- Supervise junior golfers during practices, camps, and on-course activities.
- Teach golf fundamentals, etiquette, pace of play, and the Rules of Golf in an age-appropriate manner.
- Foster a fun, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Organize games and activities that develop golf skills while keeping juniors engaged.
- Assist with junior tournaments, Drive, Chip & Putt qualifiers, and family golf events.
- Help prepare the practice facility, including setting up training stations, range balls, targets, and equipment.
- Ensure all participants follow Club rules and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized practice facility and teaching areas.
- Communicate professionally with members, parents, and fellow staff.
- Serve as a positive ambassador for the Club and the game of golf.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and growing the game of golf.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a high level of professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of golf fundamentals, etiquette, and the Rules of Golf.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during summer camps.
- Previous experience coaching, teaching, or working with youth is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
