Overview

Persimmon Woods Golf Club is recognized as one of the finest Private Clubs in the Midwest.  Since we opened in 1998, we have featured a "Pure Golf" concept, with a golf course, practice facility and clubhouse.  

 

Our Members enjoy an experience that features a fantastic 18-hole layout, which reopened after a complete greens renovation in May of 2025.  Our practice facility is active and well-equipped, mirroring our first-class golf experience.

 

Our culture is one of respect: Respect for the game and its traditions, respect for our Members and Guests and respect for our Team.  While we are a busy place, with approximately 26,000 rounds annually, a robust Member Tournament Schedule and approximatley 15 Monday Outings, we also recognize the need for our Team Members to have work-life balance.  We have been on the forefront of this initiative for over a decade.

 

Experience Required

• PGA Member
• 3+ Years as a Head Professional or First Assistant at a Private Club
• Experienced Teacher, Tournament Operator and Merchandiser

Essential Responsibilities

Our Head Golf Professional will lead a Team of four (4) Assistant Golf Professionals in providing an exceptional golf experience for our Members and Guests.  They will inherit a successful golf operation with an enthusiastic and capable group of Assistants in place.  

 

This position will develop and present meaningful instructional opportunities, provide exceptional tournament experiences and work with the Team in continuing to provide a Golf Shop experience that features a great selection of merchandise, exceptional club fitting opportunities and is active in special orders.

 

In order for our new Head Professional to be successful, this person will need to be caring, personable, patient, reliable, and more!
