Overview

Part-time guest service cart attendant position at The Refuge Golf Course in Flowood, Mississippi. This seasonal role lasts 6 months or less and supports a fast-paced, hospitality-focused golf property by ensuring golf carts are prepared, maintained, and available for player use.

Experience Required

• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable
• Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance
• Bring carts from the cart barn in the morning and return carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
• Clean, water, and check carts after each use and restock as required
• Clean and maintain cart barn
• Ensure the carts are available for player use at all times
• Receive and communicate complaints to the Golf Shop
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
