Description

Windy Hill is a private 9-hole par-3 course near La Grange, TX (between Austin and Houston). It's a quiet, well-equipped operation - the only events are small, casual friends-and-family gatherings about once a month, with none of the big-club tournament pressure or member crowds. This is an ideal spot for an experienced golf course professional who wants to run a course on their own terms.

We're looking for someone with real golf course maintenance experience who can manage the course day-to-day on their own.

What you'll do:
- Maintain greens, tees, and approaches (about 5 acres of fine turf) to a high standard
- Operate and care for the equipment fleet: 2 John Deere 2500B triplex greens mowers, a 220E walk greens mower, 2 zero-turns, a tractor, and a skid steer
- Manage mowing schedules, fertility, and irrigation
- Daily reel care and backlapping (reel grinding is sent out - no in-house grinding required)
- Provide occasional support on the broader property (pasture/rough shredding, fence-line mowing, general upkeep).

What we offer:
- $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience
