Description

• High school education or its equivalent.
• Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
• Staff members need to be knowledgeable, organized, aware, friendly, and enthusiastic on a daily basis.
• Focus on member and guest interaction, tee sheet management, golf shop presentation, communication with all staff, and being a team member.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height.
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
• Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner.
• Normal vision and hearing required.
• Loyal, team player, functional expert, enthusiastic, detail oriented, and dedicated.
• Public and private golf club experience preferred but not required.

• Use the point-of-sale system to check in golfers and sell merchandise.
• Greet members and guests as they enter the golf shop and provide luxury service for their requests.
• Keep the golf shop clean, neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Restock the golf shop throughout the shift and prior to the end of shift, checking supplies every hour.
• Carry a radio at all times to communicate with staff.
• Ensure members and guests are aware of their starting time.
• Ensure guests know where areas of the facility are located.
• Provide service to guests and members to help ensure an enjoyable day at The Powder Horn.
• Ensure members and guests are aware of facility information, including member programs, green fees, merchandise offerings, and food and beverage offerings.
• Thank guests and members for visiting The Powder Horn.
• Cover different and/or other parts of golf operations duties as needed.
