Overview

Golf Shop Attendants offer friendly and expedient service to members and their guests and assist the golf professional staff in shop operations, merchandise sales, and other related activities. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Experience Required

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• Computer proficiency including but not limited to POS and Microsoft Office applications.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as determined by management.
• Maintain accountability for POS transactions.
• Collect applicable fees from members, guests, and outside patrons as they arrive.
• Assist guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
• Assist with rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly.
• Assist with general cleaning of the shop or store.
• Assist with creating appealing displays.
• Assist with monthly physical inventories.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required or needed.
