Located in Martinsville, Virginia, Chatmoss Country Club is conveniently situated approximately one hour from both Greensboro, North Carolina, and Roanoke, Virginia. Chatmoss provides the perfect balance of small-town hospitality and access to larger metropolitan amenities.

At the heart of the club is our championship 18-hole golf course, designed by renowned architect Ellis Maples. The course is known for its outstanding conditioning, strategic design, and beautiful rolling terrain that creates an exceptional experience for players of all skill levels.

Chatmoss is committed to providing members and staff with first-class facilities and a vibrant club atmosphere. Golf operations are enhanced by state-of-the-art technology, including a TrackMan Golf Simulator that supports instruction, club fitting, and year-round member engagement. We are looking for a Golf Shop Attendant who is passionate about golf and enjoys creating conversation in a welcoming environment.

Experience Required

• Golf Experience or knowledge
• Efficient in communication and customer service
• Computer skills / efficiency

Essential Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a working knowledge and conduct opening, interim and closing procedures.
• Provide exceptional member/guest service with enthusiasm and a smile.
• Ability to work with others and as a team
• Perform cleaning duties in the Golf Shop as needed.
• Handle member and guest inquiries, manage tee-time bookings in person and over the phone, and maintain professional communication.
• Execute outside golf operations to ensure daily procedures and policies are properly executed.
• Provide operational support to the Head Golf Professional and General Manager
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
