A Golf Shop Assistant plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a golf shop while providing excellent customer service. They assist customers with merchandise purchases, answer questions about products and services, and help create a welcoming experience for all visitors.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers with golf equipment, apparel, and accessory purchases.
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing sales, returns, and payments accurately.
• Maintaining attractive merchandise displays and restocking inventory as needed.
• Providing information on golf course services, and tee times.
• Assisting with booking tee times and answering phone calls
• Keeping the golf shop clean, organized, and well-presented.
• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting low stock to management.
• Promoting a positive, professional, and customer-focused environment while representing the golf club's standards.
