Cypress Bend Resort is an 18-hole property in Many, LA overlooking the Toledo Bend Reservoir, one of the premier bass fishing lakes in the country. Magnificent views abound with 10 of the 18 holes right on the water. A renovation was recently completed in 2023 by Jeff Blume, and it has TifEagle greens and Latitude 36 Bermudagrass everywhere else. The irrigation system is Hunter 2 wire, with their Pilot central control system. The course has a John Deere equipment package as well.

The Golf Course Superintendent will direct and lead all golf course maintenance practices as well as keep records of all annual maintenance activities and fertilizer/pesticide applications. Solid irrigation management practices are a top priority to keep the overall course conditions firm and fast, while maintaining a healthy stand of turfgrass. Responsible for financial management as well as creating and working within a budget. Requires the ability to schedule and supervise maintenance operations to achieve the most efficient utilization of manpower and equipment. The ability to effectively communicate and lead a crew is a must for this position.

A degree in Turfgrass Management or related field is preferred but not required given an extensive amount of work experience in a comparable environment. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years progressive experience at clubs known for their commitment to excellence. Must have a Louisiana Pesticide license or obtain one within 90 days. The Candidate should be self-motivated, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic and have knowledge of all turf equipment for this hands-on position.
