Position Summary
The GolfTRK General Manager serves as the face of the facility and is responsible for leading all day-to-day operations, driving membership growth, delivering world-class hospitality, and building a vibrant golf community.
This role blends leadership, sales, customer service, golf instruction, event management, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about golf, energized by people, and committed to creating an environment where every member feels welcomed, valued, and motivated to improve.
Experience Required
Preferred
- PGA Professional or PGA Associate
- Previous golf industry experience
- Experience managing a golf facility, indoor golf center, club, hospitality venue, or retail operation
- Experience teaching golf lessons and player development programs
Required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven sales and customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships and grow a local community
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for golf and delivering exceptional experiences
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Manage all day-to-day facility operations
- Lead, coach, and develop facility staff
- Maintain GolfTRK operating standards and procedures
- Ensure a clean, professional, and welcoming environment
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive facility performance
- Coordinate leagues, events, clinics, tournaments, and member programming
- Execute company initiatives and local growth strategies
- Create a positive culture for members, guests, and employees
Membership Sales & Revenue Growth
- Conduct facility tours and membership consultations
- Convert leads into memberships and recurring revenue
- Execute local marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts
- Build relationships with local golfers, businesses, schools, and organizations
- Develop partnerships with golf courses, clubs, PGA professionals, and community groups
- Promote GolfTRK programs, lessons, fittings, leagues, and events
- Consistently drive membership acquisition and retention
Member Experience
- Deliver world-class hospitality and customer service
- Build meaningful relationships with members and guests
- Create an engaging and welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all ages and skill levels
- Foster a family-friendly environment where members feel connected
- Energize the membership through events, leagues, clinics, and daily interactions
- Resolve member concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure every member receives an exceptional GolfTRK experience
Golf Instruction & Player Development
- Conduct swing evaluations and lessons (if qualified)
- Utilize TrackMan and PuttView technology to support player development
- Help members understand and leverage performance data
- Create customized improvement plans for golfers of all skill levels
- Support junior golf, adult instruction, clinics, leagues, and corporate programming
- Serve as a trusted resource for members seeking to improve their game
Technology & Training Expertise
GolfTRK facilities feature industry-leading technology, including TrackMan and PuttView, creating the most complete indoor player-development environment available.
General Managers should be excited to learn and utilize these technologies to help members improve through:
- Data-driven practice and performance tracking
- Swing analysis and player development tools
- Putting, green-reading, and short-game training experiences
- Personalized improvement plans
- Technology demonstrations and member onboarding
Business Performance
- Manage facility budgets and expenses
- Track membership growth, retention, and revenue metrics
- Review weekly and monthly performance reports
- Execute strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals
- Maintain operational excellence and accountability
- Drive overall facility success through strong leadership and execution
