Candyroot Lodge is seeking an exceptional hospitality leader to oversee our outside golf operation and build a premier caddie program from the ground up.

Our long-term vision is to become one of America's great golf destinations, featuring four championship golf courses, a short course, lodging, and exceptional dining. That vision begins with the opening of our first 18-hole championship course and a commitment to delivering an unforgettable guest experience from day one.

This position reports directly to the Director of Golf and will play one of the most influential roles on the property. As the leader of our outside operation, you will create both the first and last impression every guest has of Candyroot Lodge.

As a walking-only facility, our caddies are central to the guest experience. This role will lead all outside operations while recruiting, developing, and managing a premier caddie program built on hospitality, professionalism, and genuine service.

What We're Looking For

• Leadership experience in outside operations, caddie services, golf operations, or luxury hospitality
• Experience with walking golf or professional caddie programs strongly preferred
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
• Calm, solution-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and seasonal schedules
• Experience with golf management software and caddie scheduling platforms is a plus

• Lead all daily outside golf operations while delivering exceptional hospitality
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and mentor a professional caddie staff
• Create an outstanding arrival and departure experience for every guest
• Manage caddie assignments and daily operations using modern scheduling software
• Oversee bag handling, club cleaning, practice facilities, staging areas, and guest transportation
• Maintain inventories of operational supplies including towels, divot bottles, swap bags, hydration stations, and guest amenities
• Coordinate weather evacuation procedures and transportation when necessary
• Work closely with the Golf Shop and Golf Course Maintenance teams to ensure a seamless operation
• Establish and uphold standards for appearance, conduct, safety, and guest interaction
• Clearly communicate caddie policies, compensation, and operational expectations
• Foster a safe, respectful, and professional culture for both guests and staff
• Assist with tournaments, special events, and future facility expansion
