Description
Belfair, one of the Lowcountry's premier private golf and residential communities in Bluffton, South Carolina, is seeking a full-time Front Desk Concierge to serve as the welcoming face of our Clubhouse. Managed by Troon, the world's largest professional club management company, and recognized as a Distinguished Club, Belfair is home to two Tom Fazio Championship golf courses and offers an exceptional lifestyle centered around world-class golf, dining, wellness, and outstanding hospitality. Reporting to the Director of Administration, the Front Desk Concierge is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily administrative operations of the Club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome members, guests, and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls while responding promptly to member inquiries.
- Coordinate member dining reservations and club event bookings using OpenTable.
- Respond to member questions and requests through Belfair's member communication platforms.
- Provide administrative support including filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and mail preparation.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and copy room organized, clean, and presentation ready.
- Prepare welcome packets and amenity baskets for Cottage guests.
- Assist in evaluating and improving front desk procedures to enhance the member experience.
- Support additional administrative projects and departmental needs as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of administrative, concierge, front desk, or customer service experience.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Jonas Club Software and OpenTable is preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Must be fluent in English.
Schedule:
- Full-time (35-40 hours per week).
- Primarily Monday through Friday.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays during club events and business needs.
