Overview

Highland Woods Golf Course, located in Hoffman Estates, IL, is seeking a driven individual for a fast-paced hospitality-focused cart attendant role. The position supports daily golf operations and guest service, including afternoon hours from 2pm until sunset, with 1 weekend day required. Applicants must be available to work through December, or until the end of the golf season.

Experience Required

• Must be organized, efficient and detail oriented.
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with guests and fellow workers.
• Dependable, with a good work ethic.
• Golf knowledge is desirable.
• Valid driver's license if driving carts.
• Must be available to work from 2pm until sunset.
• 1 weekend day required.
• Applicants must be available to work through December, or until the end of the golf season.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs occasionally.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Provide a memorable guest experience.
• Work as part of a team and maintain a professional appearance.
• Bring golf carts from the cart barn to the cart staging area outside the golf shop.
• Load bags and rental clubs onto carts as needed.
• Greet guests at the designated bag drop area and load bags onto carts.
• Give directions to guests for the golf shop, first tee, driving range, and other areas.
• Transport range balls to the driving range and fill appropriate containers.
• Operate the range picker on the range to retrieve balls.
• Return carts to the cart barn, wash carts, park carts in designated spaces, and connect charger cables safely where applicable.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
