Overview

Wintonbury Hills Golf Course is seeking a Cart Attendant to support golf operations by attending to the golf cart fleet and driving range. This position is primarily scheduled for weekend mornings, with start times as early as 5:00 a.m., and requires availability on both Saturday and Sunday as well as some holidays.

Experience Required

• Must have a strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable.
• Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred.
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED; and six months to a year of customer service experience or training.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Must be willing to work both Saturday and Sunday and some holidays.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Bring carts from the cart barn in the morning and return carts to the cart barn at the end of the day.
• Clean, fuel, and check carts after each use.
• Clean and maintain the cart barn.
• Ensure the carts are available for player use at all times.
• Receive and communicate complaints to the Pro Shop.
• Work closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments.
• Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
