Overview

Quintero Golf Club is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Professional for a fast-paced, hospitality-focused golf property. The role supports golf operations, member and guest service, retail golf shop functions, and event preparation while contributing to the overall golf experience at the club.

Experience Required

• Associate's degree (AA); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English required to perform job duties.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with computerized POS and tee time systems.
• Regularly stands, walks, and sits; occasionally climbs or balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches.
• Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks or hears; tastes or smells.
• Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions and frequently works outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in administering point of sale application revisions and needs related to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing.
• Coordinate policy and procedure revisions, updates, and implementation with accounting departments.
• Reconcile daily tee sheets, perform check-in, and receive payments from members and guests.
• Resolve discrepancies involving duplicate charges and overpayments or underpayments.
• Track force posts and no-show charges as applicable.
• Promote all club golf activities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop.
• Assist the retail buyer with procurement, merchandising, and shop sales support.
• Prepare for golf outings, including scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, score sheets, format sheets, favors, pairing sheets, and hole assignments.
• Assist with associate training.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
