Overview

The Golf Professional assists in all aspects of the golf operation, including tournaments and events, merchandising, player development, member services, and golf shop operations. This role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and a passion for growing the game of golf.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group golf instruction for players of all skill levels.
• Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of tournaments, leagues, and member events.
• Manage daily golf shop operations, including tee times, merchandise sales, inventory, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting members and guests and addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate and oversee outside golf operations, including cart fleet management and practice facility presentation.
• Promote instructional programs, clinics, junior golf, and player development initiatives.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and retail displays.
• Enforce club rules, pace of play, and golf etiquette.
• Maintain accurate handicap records and tournament scoring.
• Support marketing initiatives and member communications related to golf events and programming.
• Work collaboratively with the Golf Course Superintendent and Food & Beverage team to ensure a seamless member experience.
• Represent the club in a professional manner at all times.
