Club Overview:

Located in Placida, Florida, just across the causeway from Gasparilla Island and the quaint village of Boca Grande, Coral Creek features a world class Tom Fazio designed golf course. Mr. Fazio designed Coral Creek Club in a core configuration with limited residences on the perimeter of the golf course. In the summer of 2020, the Fazio team was back at Coral Creek completing a renovation of the course to include all formal bunkers, all tees, replacement of the TifEagle turf on the greens and installing TifTuf on the fairways and roughs. Bordered by picturesque Coral Creek, a salt-water estuary flowing to the Gulf of Mexico and a 6,000-acre nature preserve, Coral Creek Club provides for a very special, private golf experience.

The impeccably maintained, 211-acre golf course rolls gently through southern pines, oaks and palms around deep blue lakes and picturesque, high flashing bunkers that guard emerald greens. Coral Creek Club offers water views over the mangroves on several golf holes, views that make the golf experience at Coral Creek Club unique among the best golf courses in Florida.

The Club and surrounding area have something to offer everyone. The abundant fishing waters of the Boca Grande area, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Gulf of Mexico are just a short boat ride away and the pristine sandy beaches of Gasparilla Island are just across the causeway.

At Coral Creek Club, our Tom Fazio designed course is just the start of a special club experience that contributes to the unique area lifestyle. Currently ranked 17 th in state of Florida, CCC has been host to a number of significant events through the years including USGA qualifiers, FSGA majors and CCC Collegiate Invitational. Our golf leadership team consists of a past president of the Canadian PGA and a PGA Master Professional. CCC is currently a full membership with 275 members and fully operational from October 1-July 4.

Experience Required

Candidate Qualifications:

• Class A PGA/LPGA Member or Associate in good standing
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred but not required
• Previous experience as an Assistant Professional or intern at a premier, private facility preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications and other technology including Golf Genius
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills in both written and verbal formats
• Maintains a professional image within the club and the South Florida PGA Section

Essential Responsibilities

The Assistant Golf Professional is a strong individual who exudes confidence, is detail-oriented, takes initiative, and has strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be looking to advance his or her career with a strong desire to become a Head Golf Professional. Female assistants are encouraged to apply.

Reporting Structure:

The Assistant Golf Professional reports to the Head Golf Professional.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities - include, but not limited to:

Golf Operations Management

• Assist Head Professional in overseeing daily operations including golf shop, range, first tee and golf course
• Assist Head Professional with development and management of quality tournament programs
• Assist Head Professional with golf clinics, club fitting and teaching private lessons
• Assist Head Professional with inventory including purchasing, merchandising and monthly inventory
• Play and actively engage with members
• Track and verify all fees and charges to facilitate accurate accounting and recordkeeping
• Promote and coordinate all golf programs

Golf Administration

• Assist with the recruitment, training, and supervision of the outside services team
• Assist with management of weekly payroll
• Marketing and promotions

This position would ideally work November 2026 -April 2027 however these terms could be negotiable.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation package for this position is very competitive and commensurate with experience. Compensation will include base salary, merchandise commission, holiday bonus & 100% of lessons, clinics and club fitting income.
