Overview

At The Huntington Club, we hire candidates who possess a team attitude, are self-motivated, and have a passion for the game of golf. This position works alongside the Director of Golf to deliver an exceptional golf experience for the members of THC. The successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of the day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for an individual eager to grow within a strong working team.

Experience Required

• PGA Membership or Active Level 2 PGA Apprentice in good standing is required.
• At least 3 years experience in a private club setting highly preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience at a recognized green grass facility.
• Understanding elements of successful golf operations, proactively serving members and guests, while providing exceptional member experiences
• College degree preferred

Essential Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities - include but not limited to:

• Outside service & golf car attendant management
• Day-to-day tee sheet management & starter responsibilities
• Providing golf instruction to the membership
• Teaching junior golf programs
• Maintaining fiscal responsibilities
• Creating a team culture
• Building a positive team environment.
• Assist in tournament operations with the Director of Golf and other Assistant Professionals.
• Assist in developing the weekly and monthly Junior, Men's and Ladies' golf programming.
