Description

• Understand the entire operation thoroughly and uphold high standards of conduct and represent oneself in a consistent, professional manner.
• Be a leader of the operation at all times and be confident/capable to be the decision maker in absence of DOG.
• Assist the DOG in overseeing the entire golf staff to ensure proper performance.
• Be able to do all jobs within department at a proficient level.
• Provide excellent customer service in the golf shop, handling check-in of golfers and retail sales. Including being able to help provide solutions for special orders and requests.
• Administer tournaments in a first-class manner consistent with the Deering Bay brand using Golf Genius Tournament Software. Must be proficient with GHIN Handicap System.
• Spread hospitality and goodwill and play golf with members and guests from time to time at a proficient level.
• Develop familiar relationships with members and be able to promote activity at the club.
• Facilitate basic club repair and assist in driving custom fit club sales.
• Teach golf lessons and help develop the instructional programs for Deering Bay. You should take pride in your teaching and keep up with trends and technology

• It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have opportunities for advancement within the golf department at Deering Bay. They will also be encouraged to seek out opportunities for advancement outside of the club those opportunities come available.
