At Yorba Linda Country Club, we are seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who is professional, maintains positive energy, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional service. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for an individual eager to grow within a strong working family. Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting all aspects of daily golf operations.
- Assisting in the leadership and development of staff.
- Interacting with members and guests to uphold high culture and experience standards.
- Managing weekly forecasts for upcoming tournaments, including formats, on-course contests, and maintenance coordination.
- Assist in managing the Outside Services team ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the golf operation.

- Communicating with all departments of the club on a daily basis.

- The Assistant Golf Professional will have the opportunity to provide golf instruction to members and guests of the club. Additional instructional opportunities through camps, clinics and other group instruction programming on a year round basis.

Experience Required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with all types of golfers
- Highly dependable with strong time-management habits

- Adaptable to change and willing to learn new systems and responsibilities
- Passion for delivering memorable experiences
- PGA Associate or interest in pursuing PGA membership preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

The Assistant Golf Professional plays a key leadership role in delivering a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience at Yorba Linda Country Club .

We are seeking an energetic, service-driven professional who is committed to excellence and passionate about the game of golf and hospitality. This individual will assist in managing daily golf operations, supporting staff, and ensuring every member, guest, and tournament participant feels welcomed, valued, and taken care of from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, team-oriented, and willing to step into any role necessary to support the success of the operation and overall member experience.

• Assist the Head Golf Professional in all day-to-day golf operations
• Deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and tournament participants
• Manage scheduling and daily oversight of Golf Operations staff
• Support membership services and member communication
• Oversee outside services operations including carts, practice facilities, and guest flow
• Lead, train, and motivate staff with professionalism, accountability, and positivity
• Learn and utilize the POS system for tee times, sales, reporting, and daily operations
• Assist with inventory management, receiving, merchandising, and retail presentation
• Support the planning and execution of tournaments, outings, and club events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Golf Shop environment
• Step into any operational role when needed - flexibility and teamwork are essential
• Uphold the culture, standards, and expectations of Yorba Linda Country Club
