Hobe Sound Golf Club is seeking a passionate, service-oriented Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional to join our team during the club's primary golf season. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at a traditional, golf-only private club with a highly engaged membership and a strong culture centered on exceptional service, professionalism, and member relationships.

With approximately 250 golf members, Hobe Sound Golf Club provides an intimate club environment where golf professionals have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with members while gaining valuable experience in all aspects of golf operations.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or PGA Member preferred
• Strong passion for the game of golf and private club service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience with Golf Genius and golf shop operations preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays during the season

Essential Responsibilities

The Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and professional staff in all areas of club operations, including:

• Daily golf shop operations and member service
• Tournament administration and event execution
• Golf Genius tournament management and scoring
• Merchandising, inventory management, and retail presentation
• Tee sheet management and guest registration
• Outside operations support when needed
• Teaching and coaching members through private instruction and clinics
• Playing golf and engaging with members to foster strong relationships
• Assisting with member events, leagues, and club traditions
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the golf shop and throughout the club
