Eagle, ID | Designed by John Harbottle III, BanBury Golf Course meanders around the South Channel of the Boise River, successfully uniting golf with native habitat. A challenging 6,908 yard par 71 public course, BanBury Golf Course has been consistently rated in the top ten golf courses in Idaho by Golf Digest. The facility also includes a full scale driving range, chipping area, three TackMan Golf Simulations, Quintic Ball Roll System, full scale custom club fitting and club repair shop and a full service restaurant and bar.

Our Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional both have a passion for coaching, mentoring, and serving others. With extensive experience at venerable clubs like The Vintage Club, Tacoma Country & Golf Club, Columbia Edgewater CC and Torrey Pines. They are now focused on constantly improving the operation and service levels at BanBury Golf Course. While offering a work life balanced schedule.

This position is an opportunity to join the Golf Professional Staff at BanBury Golf Course. The ideal candidate will have aspirations to become a Head Golf Professional. We will develop your ability to lead people the right way within your personality and strengths so you can thrive.

Experience Required

• Having started the PGA PGM program is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of Golf Operations
• A successful candidate must be motivated
• Customer service focused attitude and team player
• Golf Genius Tournament software "experience" a plus
• Excellent written and oral business communications
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, social media platforms/internet, etc. a significant plus
• Custom club fitting experience a plus

Essential Responsibilities

Job Summary: | Under the Director of Golf, assists Head Golf Professional and First Assistant with the daily golf operations of the facility, with high professionalism and customer-centric attitude

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day golf course operations
• Assist in tournament operations
• Assist with teaching programs
• Assist in merchandising for the golf shop
• Maintain a clean and organized golf shop
• Maintain a professional and service-oriented environment in the pro shop by providing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Supervise outside services staff, with awareness and focus on managing to budget
• Promote the game of golf
• Implement and support all BGC initiatives and programs as requested by management
  Other duties may be assigned by management

Compensation & Benefits Overview

• Hourly rate $17.00-$21.00 per hour, paid biweekly, based on experience and qualifications. Anticipated total income range: $42,000-$50,000 based on candidate's abilities, salesmanship and work ethic.
