The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, is currently seeking a full time, Lead Producer/Video – Digital Content. This individual will be responsible for managing the team that is producing, shooting, and editing video content for LPGA.com and LPGA Social Channels. This position is based in Daytona Beach, FL and will be required to travel approximately 30% of the year and work some non-traditional hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce/shoot/edit features and shows/projects for LPGA.com and LPGA Social Channels by utilizing research, writing and video production skills
  • Brainstorm and pitch feature, show and project ideas
  • Oversee the team’s creative execution of ideas from start to finish to include: ideation, scheduling, writing scripts, directing staff and talent during shoots, logging footage, editing and posting to LPGA.com and LPGA Social Channels
  • Collaborate with LPGA Broadcasting and Golf Channel Feature Producer to exchange tournament video each week (and international broadcasters as well).
  • Collaborate with the digital team that oversees the management of the LPGA video platform (Brightcove) and the video section of LPGA.com through the use of a CMS (Sitecore)
  • Collaborate work with VP, Creative on MAM project
  • Create motion graphics (intro/outro/lower thirds) to help keep the LPGA brand consistent throughout all LPGA.com and LPGA Social Media videos
  • Collaborate with the Director, Digital Content to maintain a content calendar to assist with the planning and execution of all assigned projects to deliver the best and most timely content to LPGA.com and LPGA Social Channels 
  • Operate under tight deadlines and quick turnaround times for Tournament related content
  • Edit highlight packages and write voiceover scripts for talent
  • Collaborate with and direct talent during voice-over sessions and on-camera projects
  • Manage equipment inventory and work with supervisors to maintain budgets and requests for new and replacement equipment
  • Develop lines of communication and relationships with various LPGA departments to ensure efficient execution of projects
  • Collaborate with players and/or agents to schedule interviews and/or other shoots


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Television/Film Production, Communications and/or related area of study
  • Three to five (3-5) years of experience in video production; Production experience should include single and multi-camera field production, knowledge of interview and green screen lighting techniques and all phases of post-production
  • Ability to shoot and edit is required; experience with Sony FS7 is preferred
  • Experience with the game of golf is required; sports production background preferred
  • Experience in developing program content, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing for a wide variety of programming
  • Experience with the following production systems and/or technical equipment: non-linear video editing, computer graphics (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.), logging and asset management systems
  • Experience in working with a CMS (Content Management System) to manage video content on a website
  • Familiarity with advancing and emerging technologies and techniques, as well as all facets of social media
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment in order to help establish an effective workflow
  • Must be detail oriented and able to deliver accurate work within established deadlines
